Although I have never been a member of the Gap Edge Trading chatroom or taken one of their courses, I do follow their free Twitter account @TroyPeterson and have found his tweets very helpful. Troy claims to be a professional trader and mentor for over 20 years with a specialized focus on stocks that gap at the open.
From what I’ve gathered, the gap edge trading strategy is focused on looking at 15, 30, and 60 minute candlestick patterns to determine appropriate entries for the next big move.
